Every good party needs a little champagne... I mean a little champagne never hurt anyone right?! It's bubbly, refreshing and looks so innocent and inviting in the flute. But looks can be deceiving and as much as I enjoy a glass of bubbly I have learned the consequences of over doing it. Just ask 'the boy' who finished 2 bottles on the night of my blog launch party. It's the only time I've ever seen him drunk in our entire relationship and the next morning it was not pretty ;). Regardless, champagne and a healthy hangover are synonymous with the Holiday season so soak it up while you have an excuse. White Dahlia is the newest addition to the Saskatoon retail scene. With a large store front and beautiful interior on the same level as any fashion chain, it is a first of it's kind in the city (I love the lounge concept in the change room area - it is reminiscent of retailers like Topshop). They carry trendy pieces and boast a stocklist that grows by the week. Any girl that is interested in fashion is bound to find something to obsess over in this downtown boutique.
This is probably the most festive dress from this series. It has the sparkly details that most people look for in a Holiday dress, but isn't completely over the top. The piece has a Balmain feel to it with the color, pattern and long sleeves. I thought the fringe added a nice finishing touch to the look and truth be told I saw Kim (Kardashian) wearing a similar piece and think I subconsciously chose this with her in mind. How good has her style been lately? Cough, cough Kayne but more on that for another post. Don't even get me started on the clutch. It's amazing. I love the massive gems adorning the front and the blue satin is beautiful. All day I wanted to pull the chain out and make it a cross-body bag to wear with a denim button-up. Finally, I paired the look with my favorite caged shoes from Swank Shoe Lounge.
