Cyrus took a break from twerking to star in Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign. Cyrus has called Jacobs her 'fashion mentor' and wearing his designs to a number of notable events, including the Met Ball. "We all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There's nothing I don't like about her. She is just genuine and very natural," says Jacobs. The photos turned out dark and sulky, a major departure from Jacob's usual up-beat and colourful imagery. Along with the change in pace came a change in photographer; it was said that Jacobs longtime photographer, Juergen Teller, refused to shoot Miley. "I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist. He just didn't want to shoot her" stated Jacobs. Teller shot other models for Marc Jacob's 2014 Spring campaign - just not Miley. Personally, I think she looks great in the photos, but as for the brands image I'm not sure I'm on board. I've always been a fan of the colorful, bold prints and clean photos. Was Miley a good choice?
