Like many of you, I have had fake nails upwards of 8 months now. Starting with oval to almond to stiletto to rounded square and now back to oval. The shiny and pointed nature of the look always seems to garner a lot of comments, "Whoa your nails are so long. How do you function properly?" or "Those are like claws! You could do some serious damage!". Haha.... Thanks for the input people. Guess what, I'm typing right now and might I add pretty quickly. I love fake nails. A trip to the nail salon can make a person feel instantly girly and put together. When your hair's a mess, your face is a mess and your just feeling all around like a mangled mess you can count on one thing for sure - your nails will look polished and clean. I'm not a huge fan of nail art; having it on every nail can add too much to an already busy outfit and I would personally get tired of it much faster than a solid color. My color rotation includes: white, black, nude, red and occasionally a dusty pink. So I thought I would try a design just on one nail and keep it as clean as possible. The options were endless and I ended up getting a pineapple. For whatever reason it came down that or a banana. I was feeling tropical I guess, but I'm already onto a new set - I did end up getting sick of the design.
Sometimes when my bank accounts drained and two of my nails have been broken for a week I miss having short nails. Maybe it'll be time for a break soon, but until the time comes my claws will be out!
